Work / Exercise fileStill / Moving
A self-directed exercise in tension: stable lettering against a diagonal and a repeating line. The process sheets isolate decisions within this one composition.
One idea.
Several tests.
The words hold their ground. The line pulls across it. The exercise asks how much movement a composition needs before its message becomes difficult to read.

Reading the result
The upper word is compact and steady. The longer lower word extends across the same edge. A coral diagonal cuts in the opposite direction, while fine white curves give the lower field a softer rhythm.
The composition is an exploration of hierarchy, not an identity for an invented organisation. The lettering and line sheets show visual alternatives rather than separate client projects.
