Work / Line sheet

Repeat one small gesture.

A curve can suggest motion without an arrow. This sheet repeats a shallow bend, then compares two colour treatments within the same family.

EXERCISE: STILL / MOVINGVARIABLE: REPETITION / COLOURHELD: CURVE GEOMETRY
Twenty-four flowing curves: a blue family above and a coral family below.
A single curve, translated at a regular interval. Colour divides the comparison; it does not name two different projects.

Blue: a quieter field

A finer blue stroke on pale paper makes the individual lines easy to follow. The repeated bend becomes a texture without needing another symbol.

Coral: a stronger signal

The coral family feels more immediate. In the final blue composition, that attention is reserved for the diagonal, so the curves become fine white lines.

Assembly decision. Keep the curve family subordinate to the words. Repetition supplies movement; the diagonal supplies the strongest directional cue.
